PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- A 17-month program which makes this one of the fastest routes to becoming an MS, RD.
- Coordination with New York University (NYU) to offer a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition to prepare the intern for registration eligibility for the Registration Exam for Dietitians.

- Our medical center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.
JAMES J. PETERS MEDICAL CENTER BRONX CAMPUS
The medical center is a primary, secondary, and tertiary care facility with an extended care rehabilitation facility on campus. We are affiliated with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. The JJPVAMC has a research building which is the site of continual and notable research in the areas of spinal cord injury, nutrition, and health as well as other areas of medical importance. There is also a medical library and state of the art media rooms for the dietetic intern presentations. A spacious internship study and seminar space offers interns desks and computer access to the online medical charting system and reference library.
FINANCIAL AID Financial aid is available for qualifying students through NYU for tuition, housing and other expenses that the stipend does not cover. Interns requiring financial aid must file a FAFSA by February 1 to be eligible for loans and scholarships. For information and applications for financial aid, address inquiries to:

HOUSING
Dietetic interns have the option of living on their own or in:
- Mt. Sinai Medical Center's Medical School dormitory 1 block from Central Park at $532/month plus utilities
- NYU dormitories in Greenwich Village
- NYU's variety of housing options, which range from shared studios to suites.
